The murder of a 22-year-old in Jaipur has led to the arrest of the prime suspect following a dramatic escape attempt. Anas Khan, the accused, was apprehended after being shot in the leg during a brief encounter with police.
The incident occurred on Sunday night when Khan allegedly confronted Vipin in the Paldi Meena area over a long-standing feud and fatally stabbed him. Vipin's family reacted by blocking the Jaipur-Agra highway, heightening tensions and prompting police action.
Police have deployed additional personnel to manage the situation as discussions continue with the bereaved family, who are withholding consent for an autopsy. Khan had announced the murder on social media before retracting his statement.
