In a pressing call for action, Tripura Assembly Speaker Biswabandu Sen has raised alarm over the escalating drug abuse in Dharmanagar, North Tripura.
In a recent meeting with Meena Debbarma, the newly appointed Officer in Charge (OC) of Dharmanagar Police Station, Sen pointedly demanded improvements in law and order.
The Speaker emphasized the need for strict enforcement, highlighting that past efforts had fallen short. His remarks underscored concerns about the influence of vested interests on policing, urging Debbarma to ensure unbiased and robust enforcement of laws.
