In a shocking development, an Indian-origin Delta airline pilot has been arrested at San Francisco International Airport on charges related to sex crimes against a minor, authorities disclosed.
The accused, Rustom Bhagwagar, 34, was taken into custody by federal agents immediately after his flight landed on the evening of July 26. The arrest follows an investigation initiated in April 2025 by the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office.
The pilot was charged with five counts of oral copulation with a child under ten years of age, with a bail set at $5 million. Delta Airlines has suspended Bhagwagar pending further investigation into these grave allegations.
