Man Arrested for Illegal Conversion Attempt

The arrest is tied to a complaint from July 28, submitted by the woman's father, accusing the man, Shahrukh, of attempting to lure and convert his daughter.

Authorities acted swiftly, registering the case under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Uttar Pradesh Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Act, leading to Shahrukh's arrest after a tip-off in Gaipura Tiraha. Following the completion of legal formalities, he has been incarcerated.
