Stone-Pelting Chaos Mars Mahaviri Flag Procession in Bihar

A religious procession in Bihar's Muzaffarpur district turned violent as stone-pelting from rooftops left several policemen and locals injured. The incident occurred during a Mahaviri flag procession in Meenapur village on Thursday night.
Senior Superintendent of Police Sushil Kumar reported that the attack injured multiple officers, including the station house officer of Rajepur police station, as well as several residents. Fortunately, the injured are now in stable condition, having been treated at a local government hospital.
To restore peace, additional police forces were deployed as a precautionary measure. The police promptly registered a case, leading to the arrest of five individuals as they continue to investigate the incident.
