A Meghalaya court has extended the judicial custody of Sonam Raghuvanshi and Raj Kushwaha, the primary suspects in the murder of Indore businessman Raja Raghuvanshi, by another 14 days. Officials reported this decision on Saturday.
The extension followed a virtual hearing, during which a public prosecutor confirmed the decision. The suspects are believed to have plotted the murder, including three accomplices, during the couple's honeymoon in Meghalaya, where Raja's body was found.
Further investigations are being conducted by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Meghalaya Police, aiming to uncover deeper motives and additional suspects in this high-profile case.
