A young CRPF jawan, Khadge Amoldas, was found dead in a suspected suicide incident at a camp in Amethi district, police reported Thursday.
Amoldas, aged 24 and hailing from Buldhana in Maharashtra, was discovered by his colleagues who rushed him to Sultanpur Government Medical College, where he was pronounced dead.
Police sources disclosed that Amoldas, recruited through the sports quota, had been facing personal and family issues, which might have contributed to the tragic incident. Investigations are underway to ascertain further details.
