Thane's Thieving Trio: Unraveling a Web of Inter-State Heists

Three members of an inter-state gang were arrested by Thane police for involvement in eight burglary cases across Maharashtra. They stole cigarettes worth Rs 51 lakh and used stolen vehicles for their crimes. The gang was tracked down using technical analysis and the police recovered property worth Rs 10.4 lakh.

In a major breakthrough, Thane police arrested three members of a notorious inter-state burglary gang responsible for a series of heists across Maharashtra. Authorities detailed their involvement in eight separate cases, including a high-value theft in July.

The suspects took cigarettes worth Rs 51 lakh from a warehouse, cleverly covering their tracks by removing CCTV evidence. Police also linked them to stolen vehicles used during the criminal escapades.

After an intensive investigation, technical analysis led detectives to Mira Road, where the crime branch apprehended the culprits. With further investigations ongoing, the police aim to capture other gang members and recover additional stolen property.
