In a recent development, a complaint has been filed alleging trespass by unidentified Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials. The incident reportedly occurred during searches related to money laundering involving Tamil Nadu Minister I Periyasamy and his MLA son, I P Senthilkumar.
The complaint, lodged by an official from the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Secretariat, accuses individuals from the ED of entering Senthilkumar's room at the MLAs' hostel without obtaining the necessary permission.
The unsanctioned entry happened at the Omandurar Government Estate, near the Tamil Nadu Assembly at Fort St George, amidst the ED's extensive search operations on Saturday. Investigations concerning financial irregularities involving the minister and his son are still underway.
