Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy commended Justice Reddy as a 'son of the soil,' urging bipartisan support in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Born in 1946 in Telangana's Akula Mylaram, Justice Reddy boasts an impressive academic background, including a law degree from Osmania University.

His tenure featured high-profile roles including Andhra Pradesh High Court Government Pleader, President of the Advocates Association, Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court, and subsequently, as a stalwart at the Supreme Court of India until 2011. Now, poised for the vice-presidency, Reddy's legal expertise continues to influence India's political landscape.
