Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla on Tuesday assessed development projects and security measures in Churachandpur district, according to a statement from Raj Bhavan.

During his visit, Bhalla engaged with Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) at a resettlement camp in Torbung, where he personally addressed their concerns.

He chaired discussions with local MLAs, civil society members, and student representatives, responding to the Zomi Council's concerns about IDP resettlement and welfare. Later, he received a comprehensive security briefing from Brigadier S. Prashanth of the 27 Sector AR.
