Russian Advances: Unyielding Push in Eastern Ukraine

Russian forces have taken control of the village of Novoheorhiivka and further eastward regions in Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk territory. Despite their progress, Russia holds less than 1% of Dnipropetrovsk, though notable advancements include control of settlements and strategic infrastructure throughout Ukraine's east and southeast regions.

In a significant move on the eastern front, Russian forces have advanced in Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region, capturing the village of Novoheorhiivka near Donetsk, according to Russia's defence ministry.

Despite previous gains, Russian control remains minimal within the Dnipropetrovsk region, estimated at less than 1%. Nonetheless, strategic Russian control is expanding, encompassing 19% of Ukraine, including territories like Crimea.

Russia's defence efforts also targeted Ukrainian supply infrastructures, including key port and drone facilities, underscoring ongoing tensions. In response, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy highlighted Russian strikes on infrastructure in Odesa.
