Rajasthan's Director General of Police, Rajeev Kumar Sharma, declared women's safety a lifelong mission rather than a short-term campaign. Speaking at the inauguration of Jaipur Police's 'Sashakt Naari, Jimmedari Hamaari' initiative, he emphasized its priority on the state government's agenda.
Sharma highlighted successful past endeavors like 'Kalika Patrolling' and 'Anti-Romeo squads', underscoring Jaipur's status as India's second safest city. With ambitions to make Jaipur the safest globally, he called upon men to contribute to transforming this vision into reality.
Further supporting the initiative, Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph stressed the campaign's dual focus on legal measures and social transformation, with additional commentary from ADGP Lata Manoj Kumar and SP Rashi Dogra on ongoing security enhancements for women.
