Tragic Double Homicide in Amethi: Mother and Son Fatally Attacked

A tragic incident unfolded in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, as a 50-year-old woman named Ramawati and her 20-year-old son Akash were murdered in broad daylight. The attack occurred after a dispute with their neighbor over pesticide use.

The altercation quickly escalated, resulting in the neighbor, Ramraj, also known as Raju, along with four others, allegedly assaulting the victims with sharp-edged weapons. Both were critically injured and succumbed to their injuries despite being rushed to a nearby health center.

Local authorities, including Musafirkhana SHO Vivek Singh, are actively pursuing the assailants, who fled the scene post-attack. Multiple police teams have been deployed in the hunt for the suspects involved in the tragic double homicide.
