Indore Tragedy Sparks Outrage: Drunk Driver Causes Fatal Accident

A tragic road accident in Indore saw a truck driver, allegedly under the influence of alcohol, plough into pedestrians, resulting in three deaths and multiple injuries. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav confirmed compensation for victims’ families and announced disciplinary actions against police personnel due to suspected negligence.

The death toll from the grave road accident in Indore, where a truck barreled into pedestrians, has risen to three as another victim succumbed to injuries on Tuesday, as per police reports.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav disclosed a compensation strategy of Rs 4 lakh for the bereaved families and initiated disciplinary actions against nine police officials, including a deputy commissioner.

The truck, driven by a man allegedly intoxicated, went out of control on Aerodrome Road Monday night, running over pedestrians and igniting a fire, causing immediate fatalities and injuries.
