Tragic Love: Woman Strangled in Gurugram
A 21-year-old woman named Shalu was allegedly strangled to death by her lover, Vivek, in Gurugram's IMT area. Vivek, who was suspicious of Shalu's interactions with other men, confessed to the crime. Both hailed from Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. An investigation is ongoing following Vivek's arrest.

A 21-year-old woman was allegedly strangled to death by her lover in the IMT area of Gurugram's Manesar, police reported on Tuesday. The victim, Shalu, was discovered dead in her rented room after a visit from her boyfriend, Vivek, and another villager named Sachin.
Vivek, aged 27, has reportedly confessed to the heinous crime, stating he was driven by jealousy over suspected communications between Shalu and other men. Both Shalu and Vivek hailed from Bulandshahr district in Uttar Pradesh and were in a relationship, police disclosed.
Shalu's father lodged a complaint, claiming Vivek and Sachin were involved in his daughter's death, allegedly by strangulation with a dupatta. In light of the complaint, law enforcement has registered an FIR, and Vivek is currently in custody while investigations continue.
