The discovery of a Dalit man's body in an Amethi district pond has raised questions among local authorities. The man, identified as Gaya Prasad Saroj from Rohsi Buzurg village, was found without any visible injuries.
Police have initiated an investigation, and his body was sent for a postmortem. Station House Officer Shyam Narayan Pandey commented that while it seems Saroj may have accidentally drowned, the exact cause of death will only be confirmed postmortem.
