The Telangana Congress government, led by Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar, has launched two significant welfare schemes designed to empower minority communities. Unveiled at the Secretariat, the schemes focus on financial assistance and fostering self-employment.
The first scheme, 'Indiramma Minority Mahila Yojana', pledges Rs 50,000 for widows, divorcees, orphans, and unmarried women to support their entrepreneurial endeavors. Meanwhile, the 'Revanth Anna ka Sahara-Miskeen la Kosam' initiative offers Rs one lakh to the economically disadvantaged 'Fakeer' and 'Dudekula' communities.
With a total budget allocation of Rs 30 crore, these initiatives are expected to bring significant relief and empowerment.
