Tragic Accident Claims Father and Son in Mainpuri

A father and son were killed in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh, after being struck by a tanker truck. The accident occurred when they stopped their scooter by the roadside. Both died on the spot, and police are searching for the truck driver, who fled the scene.

A fatal accident in Uttar Pradesh's Mainpuri district claimed the lives of a father and son on Thursday evening, according to local authorities.

Ranjit Rathore, 36, and his 11-year-old son Risabh were returning home on a scooter when they stopped on the roadside near Aramsarai village to relieve themselves. Tragically, a tanker truck hit them from behind, killing both instantly.

The police have launched an investigation and are actively searching for the truck driver, who escaped the scene immediately after the incident.
