Tragic Turn in Jharkhand: Lover's Quarrel Ends in Fatal Stabbing

In Jharkhand's Chatra district, a 24-year-old woman named Noorjahan allegedly stabbed her boyfriend, Md Muntajir, during a dispute over their marriage. Muntajir was hospitalized but succumbed to his injuries. Noorjahan was arrested, and the incident led to a judicial custody order based on Muntajir's statement.

In a tragic incident, a young woman in Jharkhand's Chatra district has been accused of fatally stabbing her boyfriend following an altercation about their marriage, police reported on Friday.

The victim, 34-year-old Md Muntajir from Sasang village in Latehar district, had visited his girlfriend, Shabbu Praveen alias Noorjahan, in Lamta village. During their meeting, a heated argument erupted, tragically resulting in Noorjahan allegedly stabbing Muntajir.

Despite being rushed to Chatra Sadar Hospital and later referred to RIMS-Ranchi, Muntajir died en route. Police arrested Noorjahan and seized the weapon. Authorities registered an FIR after Muntajir's dying declaration, and Noorjahan was subsequently placed in judicial custody.
