In a shocking incident of violence, two youths were killed in a suspected revenge attack in the village of Kannur, Vijayapura taluk, as confirmed by local police on Monday.
The victims, Sagar Belundagi, aged 25, and Isahak Khureshi, aged 24, were identified shortly after the assailants fled the scene of the crime, which occurred on Sunday.
Authorities believe the killings were motivated by a previous scuffle involving the deceased victims and a man named Iranagouda from Tammur village, who succumbed to injuries from the altercation two years ago. The Vijayapura Rural Police conducted an inspection, registered a case, and intensified efforts to track down the perpetrators.
