A senior Russian diplomat has indicated it's too early to announce a meeting date between Russian and U.S. foreign ministers. Moscow is currently reviewing discussions held between Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, according to Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov.

A senior Russian diplomat conveyed on Tuesday that discussions about scheduling a potential meeting between the foreign ministers of Russia and the United States remain premature, reported RIA, a state news agency.

The Russian government is assessing the talks previously held between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, as stated by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov.
