At the Reuters NEXT Gulf Summit held in Abu Dhabi, Anwar Gargash, the diplomatic advisor to the UAE's president, made a strong appeal for immediate ceasefire in Sudan on Wednesday.
Gargash stressed that Sudan's future must be determined through a civilian transition, rather than under military governance.
Highlighting past efforts in areas like Gaza, Gargash expressed disappointment over Sudan's restrictions on UAE's humanitarian efforts but assured readiness to increase assistance once allowed.
