Tragic Accident Claims Life of Dedicated Home Guard

A 52-year-old Home Guard from Awagarh police station in Uttar Pradesh's Etah district passed away on Thursday, following a serious road accident. The accident occurred while Surendra Kumar, a resident of Misa Kala village, was on his motorcycle heading to duty.
The incident took place near Mohanpur village when an unidentified vehicle collided with Kumar's bike, causing severe injuries. Locals rushed him to Etah Medical College, but despite efforts, Kumar succumbed to his injuries on Thursday.
Awagarh SHO Akhilesh Kumar Dixit described Kumar as a disciplined and calm individual. Authorities are investigating to locate the unidentified vehicle involved, while Kumar's family demands stringent action and financial support from the administration.
