In a crackdown on illegal activities, police in Uttar Pradesh's Hapur district have registered multiple FIRs against 18 YouTubers. These individuals are accused of promoting unauthorized bull races ahead of the Kartik Purnima fair, according to official police sources on Friday.

The YouTubers allegedly uploaded content on platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram, advocating for the bull races even before the fair, known for drawing thousands of attendees. Authorities have banned such events due to their risk to both animals and humans, labeling them as cruel and chaotic.

Circle Officer Stuti Singh explained that after monitoring social media, cases have been filed under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and other relevant sections. Enforcement actions highlight the ongoing challenges in balancing cultural events and legal boundaries.
