In a saga of deceit and resilience, seven residents of Punjab have returned home after a harrowing ordeal in Tajikistan. Duped by an agent promising driver jobs, they endured weeks of laborious work under poor conditions.

The men, who spent Rs 1.5 lakh each for promised employment, sought help upon realizing the scam. A video appeal led to AAP MP Vikramjit Singh Sahney's intervention, coordinating with the Indian Embassy for their safe return.

Upon their arrival in Delhi, efforts are underway to ensure justice against the fraudulent agent, marking the end of their international travail and a step towards accountability.
