A shocking incident unfolded in Maharajganj district when a woman was accused of witchcraft, beaten, and paraded by a mob, police reported on Wednesday.
The incident took place on October 19, just before the Diwali celebrations, but gained attention after a disturbing video was shared on social media.
Authorities are actively investigating the case. Superintendent of Police Somendra Meena affirmed that strict actions would be taken against the aggressors as Paniyara Police launched a comprehensive investigation.
