A 22-year-old man, known to the police for involvement in multiple criminal cases, was shot dead in northeast Delhi's Seelampur area, authorities reported on Friday.
The gunfire incident occurred at about 10:40 pm on October 30. Upon arrival, police discovered a man with gunshot injuries near Jama Masjid, and he was later identified as Misbah, a Jaffarabad resident.
Misbah was taken to Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital, where he was declared deceased. Investigators revealed his criminal past, including involvement in cases related to murder, attempted murder, and robbery. Forensic teams are on-site gathering evidence, and police teams have been deployed to uncover the shooting's motive and apprehend the perpetrators.
