An unidentified group carried out a targeted attack on a telephone exchange building in Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Friday.
The infrastructure, situated in the Lakki Marwat district, adjacent to South Waziristan, suffered significant damage from the improvised explosive device (IED) blast.
Fortunately, no casualties occurred, police reported. The bomb disposal squad was dispatched to the scene for further investigation as terrorist activities surge in regions bordering Afghanistan, focusing on government and security targets.
