Cannabis Cartel Dismantled: Major Bust in West Delhi

A drug syndicate operating between West Bengal and Delhi was dismantled by police with the arrest of four members in West Delhi. Over 47 kg of cannabis worth Rs 25 lakh was seized. The group transported drugs on trains using trolley bags, and further investigation is underway to find main suppliers.

In a significant breakthrough, police have dismantled a drug syndicate with operations between West Bengal and Delhi. This was confirmed after four alleged members of the cartel were apprehended in West Delhi.

Authorities seized over 47 kg of cannabis valued approximately at Rs 25 lakh. The detainees include Toni Singh, Sultana, Noor Jahan, and Santosh, also known as Bhabhi, each playing a distinct role within the cartel.

The bust followed a tip-off received on November 9, leading to a raid near Janakpuri District Park where key arrests were made. Among those detained, Santosh was identified as a crucial link in the supply chain. The investigation continues as law enforcement seeks to uncover the main supplier in West Bengal.
