Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in discussions with Nikolai Patrushev, a key associate of Russian President Vladimir Putin, on Tuesday. Patrushev, who serves as the Chairman of the Maritime Board of the Russian Federation, is set to visit India next month.
The talks focused on deepening cooperation within the maritime domain, with particular attention given to exploring new opportunities for collaboration in areas such as connectivity, skill development, shipbuilding, and the burgeoning blue economy.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Modi extended his heartfelt greetings to President Putin and expressed his anticipation of having the Russian leader visit India in the coming month.
