The daughter of West Bengal Fire Services Minister Sujit Bose, Mohini Bose, was questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) this Tuesday regarding alleged irregularities in municipal recruitment. She arrived at the agency's Salt Lake office with her legal representative for the interrogation.
The ED is also scrutinizing the financial dealings of other members of the minister's family. Interrogations continue after documents and cash were uncovered during raids at the family's properties, including search operations at their home and a family-owned restaurant.
The agency has issued summons to the minister's wife, son, and daughter for bringing financial documents, as it investigates possible channels of corrupt funds in municipal recruitment and potential investments within the hospitality sector.
