A cheating scandal unfolded in Haryana as a candidate, Deepak, was apprehended for possessing a Bluetooth device during the Staff Selection Commission's online examination.
The incident took place at Mahadev Digital Zone, where the 'Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination' is being conducted this month. Deepak, after passing the initial security check, was found carrying the device upon re-entry to the hall, police reported.
The arrest led to revelations about the involvement of an examination center employee, Lucky Singh, who allegedly provided the device, planning to assist through accomplice Jaish. A case has been filed and efforts are underway to apprehend the additional suspects under the Public Examinations Act, 2024.
