Sensational Heist: Police Crackdown on Multi-Crore Robbery

A robbery of Rs 7.11 crore in the city has led to the arrest of three individuals, including a police constable. City Police Commissioner Seemant Kumar Singh confirmed the breakthrough following an extensive manhunt involving over 200 police personnel.
The heist was executed by a gang impersonating RBI officials, who intercepted an ATM cash van on November 19. They managed to escape with the cash from a vehicle belonging to CMS Info Systems, transporting money from a private bank in JP Nagar.
Thanks to the efforts of eleven police teams, Rs 5.76 crore has been recovered, with further searches ongoing. Arrests include a constable, an ex-employee of CMS Infosystems, and a vehicle in-charge. The operation to catch remaining members of the gang continues.
