Tragedy Strikes: Groom Killed Moments Before Wedding Ritual

A man named Subodh was struck and killed by a speeding truck just before a significant wedding ritual in Baghpat district. The incident occurred near Sarurpurkalan village. Authorities are reviewing CCTV footage to locate the truck and its driver.

A tragedy unfolded in Baghpat district as a 25-year-old groom named Subodh was fatally hit by a speeding truck moments before an essential wedding ritual.

The incident took place on the Delhi-Saharanpur national highway when Subodh, a physiotherapist, stepped aside to vomit after his health suddenly deteriorated. As he stood roadside, a truck struck him, causing severe injuries.

Despite efforts by family and wedding party members to rush him to a district hospital, he succumbed to his injuries on the way. Authorities, including Baghpat Kotwali in-charge Dixit Tyagi, are examining CCTV footage to identify the truck and are intensifying efforts to find the driver, who fled the scene.
