Dramatic Shootout in Amritsar: Murder Suspect Killed in Police Encounter

A murder suspect, Rajan alias Billa, was killed in a shootout with police in Amritsar's Rayya area. He was wanted for the murder of Manjit Singh, a grocery shop owner. The encounter occurred after Rajan tried to evade a police checkpoint, leading to a gunfire exchange.

A dramatic police encounter in Amritsar resulted in the death of murder suspect Rajan alias Billa. The incident unfolded after law enforcement received reports of his presence in the Rayya area.

Suspected in the killing of Manjit Singh, a grocery shop owner in Dhoolka village, Rajan was intercepted by police while attempting to escape on a motorcycle.

Upon being signalled to stop, Rajan opened fire, prompting police to return shots. Rajan was critically injured and later died at the hospital. Additionally, a police officer was also injured and is currently hospitalized.
