Early on Saturday, Russian drones carried out strikes on two areas in Kyiv, causing damage to at least one apartment block, Kyiv's military administration chief reported.

Tymur Tkachenko, communicating through Telegram, stated that the drones targeted a central city location as well as the eastern suburbs.

A photo was posted online showing a building on fire, although Reuters has yet to independently verify this report. Additionally, Ukraine's air force issued a warning on Telegram about the possibility of the Russian capital facing missile attacks.
