A 33-year-old man, identified as Kuvesh, has been taken into custody for his alleged role in a stabbing incident that occurred in northeast Delhi's Jahangir Puri two months ago, according to officials on Saturday.
Kuvesh, also known as Vicky or Somine, was wanted in an attempt-to-murder case registered at the Jahangir Puri police station. The case dates back to September 4, when Raju, a resident of Swaroop Vihar, was reportedly attacked by Kuvesh, Monu Sharma, and an accomplice named Kallu Dada near a DDA park behind a gas agency in Bhalswa village, a senior officer stated.
Police reports indicate that Raju had met Monu upon his request, and a heated argument over a long-standing dispute led to Raju being stabbed multiple times by the trio. The suspects fled the scene, but a case was lodged on September 10. Authorities laid a trap in Jahangir Puri, ultimately leading to the arrest of Kuvesh, who was meeting an associate at the time.
