In a daring heist in Rajasthan's Nagaur district, miscreants looted Rs 12 lakh from an ATM, setting it on fire before fleeing the scene, according to police reports on Saturday.
Villagers in Bhed under Panchodi police station discovered the charred ATM, leading officials to inspect the site. Additional Superintendent of Police Asharam Choudhary confirmed that the State Bank of India ATM had been forcibly opened with a gas cutter.
The robbers successfully absconded with the DVR connected to the CCTV. Authorities have launched a thorough investigation, with technical teams examining available footage to pinpoint the number of assailants responsible for the crime.
