Three men were arrested in connection with the robbery of Rs 5 lakh from a collection agent in Delhi's Shadipur area. The culprits, Ram Avtar, Sikander, and Veeru Sonkar, were apprehended in Uttar Pradesh's Gonda district, officials reported on Saturday.

The robbery occurred on October 22 when a collection agent for an online grocery delivery firm was targeted in Shadipur by bike-borne robbers. Deputy Commissioner of Police Nidhin Valsan stated that the gang blocked the agent's path and snatched the cash-laden bag before making their escape.

A meticulous investigation led the police to the suspects after examining CCTV footage and utilizing technical surveillance, which tracked the accused to Uttar Pradesh. Authorities recovered a significant portion of the stolen cash and items purchased with the loot. Efforts continue to apprehend an absconding accomplice named Manoj.
