A devastating fire erupted at a footwear shop in South Delhi's Tigri Extension, claiming four lives, including a brother and sister, and injuring a woman on Saturday evening. The incident unfolded when a PCR call alerted police to the blaze at 6.24 pm, prompting emergency services to rush to the site.

Upon reaching the scene, officials discovered the entire building engulfed in flames. It is believed that the fire originated from the footwear shop on the ground floor and quickly spread to upper levels. Three individuals were found dead at the location, while two women were rescued and taken to the hospital, where one succumbed to injuries.

The deceased have been identified as building owner Satender, also known as Jimmy, aged 38, and his 40-year-old sister Anita. The injured woman, Mamta, aged 40, suffered 25% burn injuries. Crime and forensic teams are actively collecting evidence to determine the cause, with further investigations underway.
