A software employee was detained for allegedly assaulting an air hostess during a flight from Dubai to Hyderabad, according to a police report on Sunday.
The incident unfolded when the accused, a Kerala native, purportedly inebriated, touched the air hostess while she was performing her duties on Friday. Following the complaint by the cabin crew, he is facing charges of sexual harassment.
Upon landing, the passenger attempted to claim a misplaced passport, during which time a note with offensive remarks about the crew was discovered. Legal action was pursued under specific criminal provisions, resulting in the individual's arrest and subsequent judicial remand.
