This unexpected inspection aimed to evaluate the station's treatment of ordinary complainants and assess response protocols.
The DGP praised the duty-bound sentry who adhered to protocol, guiding him to the investigating officer and explaining the complaint process in detail. Singh took the opportunity to review the station's functioning, focusing on victim assistance and awareness mechanisms.
Singh unveiled ambitious plans to counter cybercrime, highlighting initiatives to bolster public awareness and enhance victim relief through technology and community involvement. He also announced the instigation of cyber awareness ambassadors in educational institutions to educate peers on cybercrime prevention strategies.
