Swift Police Action Rescues Kidnapped Teen in Jharkhand
In Jharkhand's Palamu district, police successfully rescued 18-year-old Sandip Kumar, who was kidnapped. The kidnappers, demanding a Rs 2 lakh ransom, were arrested. The swift action by local police followed a report by the boy's father, leading to a raid in the Housing Colony area.

An 18-year-old teenage boy, the son of police havildar Dinesh Kumar Singh, was safely rescued from a kidnapping in Jharkhand's Palamu district. Police announced the successful operation on Friday.
The victim, Sandip Kumar, was abducted on Thursday evening by two men who later demanded a ransom of Rs 2 lakh. At the time, his father was posted in Bokaro district.
Upon receiving the kidnapping report, local police under the direction of Palamu SP Reeshma Ramesan, quickly mobilized. Acting on crucial intelligence, they raided a residence in the Housing Colony area, freeing Sandip and apprehending the suspects identified as Shubham Shukla and Chandan Shukla. Investigations revealed Chandan was linked to another similar case from 2021.
