In a significant operation against crime syndicates, Delhi Police have arrested 16 notorious criminals, including high-profile gangsters, and impounded bulletproof vehicles. The late-night crackdown aimed to dismantle organized networks involved in numerous crimes such as extortion, drug trafficking, and robbery.
The comprehensive sweep, conducted across outer north, Rohini, and northwest districts, was executed by a team of 848 police personnel. Seized items included 18 pistols, 43 live cartridges, knives, cash, and mobile phones, disrupting activities of infamous gangs.
Joint Commissioner Vijay Singh highlighted the operation's success in targeting notorious groups like the Gogi gang and others, with coordinated raids across Delhi and Haryana leading to the arrests and smaller victories against organized crime.
