In a devastating incident in Pretoria, South Africa, at least 11 people, including a three-year-old boy, lost their lives in a shooting at an illegal bar on Saturday. Police have launched a manhunt to find the three suspects in the case, who remain unidentified.
The shootout, which also wounded 14 others, took place in Saulsville township. Authorities are yet to confirm whether the shots were fired inside or outside the shebeen, as such bars are locally known.
The South African Police Service revealed in a statement that among the deceased were three minors: two boys aged 3 and 12, and a 16-year-old female. South Africa grapples with one of the world's highest murder rates, averaging about 60 murders per day.
