A devastating fire at a nightclub in North Goa claimed the lives of at least 23 people, following a cylinder explosion late Saturday night, according to police reports.

The victims included mainly kitchen staff, with three women among the deceased, as confirmed by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. A few tourists also perished in the tragedy.
