Operation Sindoor: Resilience and Restraint of India's Armed Forces

Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh praised the Indian armed forces' restraint during Operation Sindoor, emphasizing enhanced border connectivity's role in the mission's success. He also noted the growth in India's defence manufacturing sector and lauded BRO's infrastructure developments strengthening both security and economic growth.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh highlighted the critical role border connectivity played in the success of Operation Sindoor conducted by India's armed forces. Singh emphasized that although more could have been done, the forces showed great restraint during the mission.

He praised the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) for completing 125 infrastructure projects, boosting connectivity and enabling effective military operations in difficult terrains. Singh noted the role of improved infrastructure in transforming security and driving economic growth in border areas.

Furthermore, Singh highlighted India's rise in defence manufacturing, citing a leap from Rs 46,000 crore in 2014 to a remarkable Rs 1.51 lakh crore, marking a paradigm shift in domestic production and exports.
