Tim Westwood, a former BBC Radio DJ, appeared in London's Southwark Crown Court on Monday, where he pleaded not guilty to 15 sexual offences, including four counts of rape. These charges are linked to alleged incidents involving seven women, spanning from 1983 to 2016, marking a 30-year period of alleged misconduct.
The 68-year-old is facing nine counts of indecent assault, two counts of sexual assault, and four counts of rape. Notably, three counts of indecent assault reportedly occurred at BBC Studios, as per the indictment. Westwood spoke in court only to confirm his name and enter his pleas of not guilty.
Westwood was granted bail and is expected to return for his trial, which is scheduled to commence in January 2027. The case continues to draw attention due to Westwood's prominence in the British hip-hop scene.
