The Indian High Commissioner to Canada engaged in discussions with significant Canadian figures, including the Speaker of the House of Commons, to advance parliamentary ties and explore shared democratic principles.

In January, India will host a Canadian delegation led by Speaker Francis Scarpaleggia at the 28th Conference of Speakers and Presiding Officers of the Commonwealth.

Furthermore, the High Commissioner met with Minister Lena Metlege Diab to discuss bilateral cooperation on immigration and education, emphasizing strengthening people-to-people connections.
